Dollar Tree DIY Gingerbread House

Instructions:

I found this little plastic dollhouse at Dollar Tree and thought its details were just perfect to turn into a decorative gingerbread house. You can find it in the toy section! You could also use an unfinished wooden or paper mache house.

First pop the windows and door off since they’re already white , spray paint the house and door “Satin Nutmeg” brown.

Once it’s dry, use puffy paint to draw on details; I followed the lines that were already on the dollhouse.

I dry brushed a few areas just to give it a snowy haze look (the sides of the roof and windows).

Add faux snow to the roof lines.

Seal with Mod Podge.

Replace the windows.

Add a pretty tea light inside to complete the glow-up ✨
